- The fire shutter operates in two ways; normal operation and operation in fire condition.
- In normal operation, the shutters can be used to close off specific areas and provide protection from theft by securing products away from the public. The fire shutters are operated by a surface wall mounted and key operated switch which is mounted to within 500mm of the door opening on the motor side and is supplied and fitted as standard
- In fire conditions, the roller shutter will close as soon as a fire alarm is triggered by the building management system. This is to prevent the spread of fire and give your employees and customers longer to leave the building.
